Race OFF ROAD Scholarship

There are so many incredible young triathletes with heaps of racing potential in the UK, working their way through a national framework until their late teens to see if they’ve got what it takes to go to an Olympic Games one day. For some the dream comes true, but more often than not athletes are faced with making a choice about their future in multisport.

One option is to ‘go long’ and undertake a big increase in volume and race over the 70.3 or Ironman distances, unfortunately the other options involves leaving the sport wondering ‘what if’. 

We want these athletes to have a 3rd option. So we created the RACE OFF ROAD Scholarship. 

Off Road Triathlon and Duathlon is enjoying a period of growth in the UK and beyond. More events are appearing on the calendar and the GBR team is consistently the largest age group team at the Championship races. Historically we’ve done well at Elite/professional racing with multiple championship winners across the biggest races around the world, but there needs to be some young blood in the game. 

That’s where you come in… 

We’re looking to hear from 18-24-year-old athletes who can demonstrate ability, potential and desire to carve a path towards high-level off-road multisport performances. As a guide, you will have previously been a member of a regional or national academy within triathlon, or competing at a high standard in at least two of the three sports separately.
